love the idea of shooting medium format. i would probably buy used one for occasional fun.
I have a 35mm Nikon FA which I love, but shooting film is cumbersome in the digital age and end up costing a lot. I have about 3000 more negatives i need to scan. and my 35mm film scanner won't scan medium format so more expenses...

tkmeister... there are tons of used ones... little expensive but well worth it. I need to get a good scanner... any examples of your 35mm work?
- Nikon LS9000 works well w/ med format.. I use one and love itnicnichols

For all you Portlanders out there, I recommend the current show at PAM. They have a bunch of mid-19th century shots of the Columbia River Gorge. The ones by Carleton Watkins are beautiful. Just thought I would mention because he shot on 18x22" plates! Really incredible. I shoot 4x5 and that film is hard enough to load!
