anyone still do film??? its way better than digital...
- LOL!sikma
- lol... digital has ruined the art of photography...Calero
- digital has not ruined that art of photography. the camera has nothing to do with taking a good photosikma
- it has taken out the need for patience, the skill and the use of the darkroom and it allows for people to all this lame post production to their images...Calero
- i still shoot with patience.. but i agree, more or less. i shoot digital though..janne76
- i'd only go back to film when using large format though! really like to do that again!!janne76

you can probably get something used for a few hundred dollars... something that is still made... maybe an older twin lens or something like that... a Mamiya RB are cheaper than an RZ... whats your budget like JSK?
- JSK0
I have tried twin lens from Seagull, that was a waste of money. Looking around under $1000 but ideally $500 I think.
I was thinking about Mamiya but wasnt sure about metering..
any good tips on metering?
- Calero0
well on the mamiya on the RZ with a prism is perfect for the metering, but the prism is heavy, but any old school light meter will do... I have a pentax spotmeter V but i always shoot with smaller aperture cuz i like the contrast with the dark tones and highlights...

I am not used to using light meter. maybe something i should experiment with.
any recommendation on Mamiya set up?
- Calero0
i dont do this but some people use a digital camera as a light meter... you can try that...
