I'd be in the entertainment industry, to be honest. Behind-the-scenes. I bet it would lead back to development in some way though.
- entertainment industry does not equal porn, in case someone was wondering.Jaline
- What area of the entertainment industry interests you professionally?MrOneHundred
- I studied mass comm., so it could be media studies (TV reviews, film, etc.), and/or advertising. I don't know.Jaline
- I actually still don't know what I want to do and I'm finished my degree. Hopefully college will help me out...Jaline
- I suppose I could be a writer but that's not something I found really appealing to do for a living.Jaline
- Hey J , I have some connections in Chatsworth for you! :)morilla
- hahahha @ morillaJaline
- DO NOT go into advertising!!!!
You are way better than that.MrOneHundred - haha, I knew someone would say that. I think I have some fairy-tale idea of what advertising would be about, so don't worry. Probably won't do itJaline
- won't do it :)Jaline
- I just mean that I studied it, so I know how much bullshit it is. Maybe I should join Adbusters, heh.Jaline
- They make you eat babies. I bet you didn’t learn about that part.MrOneHundred

There have been a ton of threads on this topic lately. Are we reaching critical mass?

rather its chef, artist, furniture, musician, and others .. they are all creative. the contemplation comes from frustration of being a creative.
either start your own where you have the final say
or
do some thing that not creative. like dental hygienist

My wife and I are trying to get our own version of a "Henson Studio" going. One in which we create and lease/sell/develop creative properties like shows and movies. So...that.
Already lived a life as a composer and musician, not much to go back to there, so not that.
Other things that have always fascinated me:
Journalist
Butcher
All around machinist, welder, or builder of things

i started out with design. got fed up of it and went into an education major, but i got left the program and finished with an english major at iowa. i wasn't accepted to naropa so i am sticking it out as a designer working towards photography. i don't imagine i'll be done there either. that will probably implode with some introspective shit that i will make into something else.
i heard that baz luhrman song, sunscreen today and can't help but think that some may never really know at time and other times they do. well, good luck.

Nursing.
Seriously. When I snap and can't take it anymore, I want to do something to actually help someone for a change.
- A couple friends are nurses. Not what you think it is. Sorry.harlequino
- My wife works for a hospital. I have several friends who are nurses. It's exactly what I think it is.TheFatBaron

i think it would be fuckin fantastic to be a demolitions expert. There's like all this intricate planning and physics and shit and you get to blow a building apart.

Photography. Although the more paid gigs I get the more I find it has similar traps as design. A lot of people want bulk work for little money.
