ungfh, bloomin' American dates! I take it this isn't for September? :)
Well done nevertheless, neverblink.
- I'm no American myself - I just went with the FMT formatneverblink
- Detritus is a born troublemaker.Studiospooky
- The FMT format is: YYYYMMDD. All formats should be like that, haha.flavorful
- Well that's how I start them, and that's how they should be started.

ok - thanks all who entered this!
For those that wanted to enter but didn't post - what was the reason you didn't enter? Too busy ( > maybe make it a two-week thing?). Theme not interesting ( > any suggestions for a new theme?).
I guess we're already too late for a new FIT, so maybe just take a week off and think about a new theme? Who would be up for a new round?

- illustrators delivering a plain retake of the written word without adding anything to it are so naive.invisiblechamber
- is this from that shortmovie you are workin on? looks ace!tank02
- thanks. no - but now as you say that i'm thinking about putting it in..invisiblechamber
- Makes me think of Ray Bradbury's "Rocket Summer"12xu

I must admit, I was a bit floored by the topic - I didn't go to art school, so was expecting a brief like "draw a toad in a car" or something. That said, the flooring bit was the fact that I had too many ideas, couldn't settle on which on to go with, then ended up with less large blocks of free time throughout the week than I'd expected. However, if I'd spent perhaps a little less time dicking around on here, I could probably have mustered something akin to an illustration somehow.
I'm still expecting to enter something... just not yesterday! :)
Don't lose heart - over the years of PSBs we had, there'd always be the occasional flaky week - the trick is to keep it up so that it maintains its profile and inspires the others on here to take part..
- detritus0
Also, perhaps in a move away from the PSBs and FMTs, maybe we should not apply a date to the thread title - that kind of concentrates the effort in mind to one day - whereas calling it 'FIT wk 2' or 'FIT February 1/4' or something might not.
Or maybe I'm just talking rot. Perhaps Now would be a good time to start working on that Illy? :)

- This is really nice. I've only just seen it... I have not really looked at what's been done yet TBH!!!!Studiospooky

no time for thinking and typing - busy with illustrating here..

you make some valid points, I hope others will give some insight into why they havn't got around to posting their illustration.
Maybe this should - like the NTPhE - be a sequencial thing, so if people had an idea for an illustration on a certain theme they could post in that topic. What do you (general) think about that?
- neverblink0
since there is no physical sending the images across the world I have better hopes for this 'project'.
anyone started sketching yet?

Sorry, couldn't find the thread. I was going to post a time machine drawing which I did in the future but I needed a portal to open allowing me to come back and post it, and that portal was embedded in a QBN thread entitled "You got to be shitting me", but now I'm back here in the present times I'm going to post this image instead. Its a fossilised Thetan embryo. For those who don;t know Thetans were imprisoned on our planet by Qenu millions of years ago and even today their spritis attach themselves to humans, or something, I don't fucking know...
- Qenu? Who's Qenu?
I MEANT XENU!
Anyway, these Thetans, thats where it all started, see?Studiospooky - Out of interest, how long wold you spend working on a drawing like < that?detritus
- Freakin' awesome, spooky. I really like that.blaw
- Thanks Blaw. Thanks Det. This piece is SRA1 size and is done very quickly. 1-2 days to do it I would say.Studiospooky
- That's not solid days I should add, its what I get up and do in between saving files or waiting for clients...Studiospooky
- I'll have to get a stopwatch and see how many actual minutes they take. Maybe 5 hours all butted up?Studiospooky
- heh, no - a couple of days on and off sounds about right - I need to work on patience - If I can't do it in an hour, I don't.detritus
- Qenu? Who's Qenu?
