hydro
so you paid designer $25 per comp on pitch
and when they get selected you pay them 200-300 minus 50
is that correct?

MrD.
1. client comes to me
2. i contact a couple designers to see if they want involved in the project
3. offer them comp pay so they are not doing it for free
4. once all pieces are done, they are sent to the client.
5. if the client selects a piece, i pay the freelancer for each piece.hope that helps

Now, for the month of November...
- MrD0
ok you bascially tell freelancers to submit comp to you for a business that you are pitching...
and you pay them 200-300 per comp if it get picked by client.
take out 50 for processing..
if it doesnt get picked then you give them $25?
but arent you pitching the client?
- hydro740
umm
you misunderstood.
i'm paying for comps. i get paid nothing until something is selected. if the client picks something up, i pay 200-300 per each piece, which is pretty standard. I take out $50 from the cost to do set ups.
- MrD0
i am sorry hydro74 but you do spec work?
and you pay someone for $25 per comp?
where can i find these guys who will do work for free until it gets selected and pay them $25 to $100???
