(May 14 07, 08:15)haha! I liked her bitchiness. But didn't want her to win, of course.

I used to throw cushions and pasta at the tv when it was on. My GF loves the show and i started to watch it. Got completely hooked.
Cup of tea, biscuits and cushions at the ready for the next series or at the very least, the repeat of this one!

So who do you like from the final 3?

Being 33 with 10 years under my belt and having been 19 and in your shoes waiting on cash I can feel your situation Jesse. But I've done this exact thing before and it's a horrible idea. You will learn over time that everything that you stick on the web is a permanent character history of yourself and it only takes a few moments for someone to find things like this before considering to use your services.
Never take things like this public. It's a beef with you and the client. Also, never go to the extreme (collection agencies or lawyers.. flame threads etc) without talking to the person on the phone. Emails and IMs are not a guaranteed form of communication... they are a luxury on the other persons part in that they can respond if they want to.
You're also going to find out over time that if you are good by others, others will be good by you. The majority of agencies and studios don't cut checks a week, 2 r 4 weeks after you do the work. They cut checks for everything on a given day of the month. If they use freelancers, they may have 40 they work with and they send checks to all of them on the same day. I used to think they would pay me after I finished something but th reality is they don't have time to write checks everyday. Although it's extreme, you can expect to wait up to as long as 3 months for payment from some people because they may do accounts payable quarterly while others cut bi weekly.
Do your homework up front, not when rent is do. Ask about payment.. many tip toe around money. You're doing a service and you need to be paid. Ask how and when they pay BEFORE you start, make sure your rate is documented and ALWAYS get a signed scope of work from the client. Best of luck to you and I'm sure Joshua isn't going to screw you over.

what always gets me is how the client wants it yesterday and then gets lazy when it comes time to pay.

Hillarious.
Don't put your age on your site, people will figure out how old you are when you're e-rage NT posts come through.
Don't burn bridges, with the way the polar caps are melting you'll need them. This industry like any other is who you know. Imagine if Burton wanted a whole line through Hydro though you. Not likely now is it? Over a couple of hundred bucks? Fuck it man. You'll only spend it on shit anyway ;)
Keep it in check YO.
