Eurobike too - that does it!
Stayed in a place in Morzine with a few German guys last year - they were hitting Eurobike on their return... needless to say they were getting pretty excited, albeilt a touch worried about their credit cards.

I might be down that way in a few weeks for work and I might be staying with a friend who lives in Laguna. if that happens, I think I might bring a light rig with me. I'll email you closer to D-Day.

You ride there much?

in laguna beach? oh man, some of the best riding here! common to see brian lopes out there - he and hans rey live here, among a ton of other pros who train for long periods here. great riding, seriously.

On a related note: I'm possibly moving to the Newport/Laguna area in the fall. What's the 4x/dh scene like there? Much to ride for the DH rig shuttle-body types?

m210 you own Crank Brothers or just do the site? I own a couple of your products.

dsmith - thats rad. there is shuttling riding here... its not my bag, but i've done it... more a bit east of town. in l.b., its all about 4-5" travel, lots of ups, and gnarly downs... all overlooking the ocean... so its pretty sweet.

anyone ride in the toronto area?
Going to start trying to find some places around toronto and mississauga to ride, the don valley seems nice. However, it seems like on some mtb forums the regulars at the don are really protective about revealing where many of the trails are.

So out of shape, time to start building my leg muscles again.
I rode just under 40 km today (23 miles) which I think is pretty good. Can't wait to get on the trails this long weekend!

damn, that's pretty good.
i usually do 8miles uphill and that's enough for me.

Finally got out a few times, on the long weekend at a provincial park and took the day off work on wednesday to go up to hardwood hills by myself and gives those trails a run since I havent rode there in a few years. Had a ton of fun and definitely stepped up my riding, until I snapped a chain link which cause my rear deraileur to bend slightly, luckly the guy in the service shop there fixed up all the problems in about 10 minutes and i was back out.
Did about 36 km throughout the day which I thought wasn't bad but it would be cool to meet some people who ride. I just found our York U (where I go) has a cycling team and also does group rides so I may check that out if no other TO Nters are up for it???
