people... The world has not come that far!!! I am a black male 31 years old and living in London I still see racism on a daily basics, yeah it's not as bad as say 50 years ago but now you have people hating on refugees and still when I watch the news "BLACK youths rape girl..." but when the same crime is comitted by white youths it's just "Youths rape girl...".
I am also a Graphic Designer and have talked to clients on phone to arrange meeting and when we meet... There is a look of surpise in there eyes...
And now to make matter worse we have "reverse racism" a word I hate as racism IS racism, the other day I skateboarding down the road when a couple brothers where like "hey, why you skating? thats for crackers!" and i told "fuck off and read a book"....
Sorry for the rant, my point is people need to talk about it and
as much as you try to deny it this is the age of the rockstar and rapstar, when they talk people listen... Bush is EVIL and
anyone with any brains know's he's a racist moron and he doesn't care and if this mess happened in a more affluent state would he taken so long to get his ass in gear... I think not!

"anyone with any brains know's he's a racist moron"
how is he racist?
i could see the moron argument, but not the race card.
- ethios0
peace and love dudes
- ewo0
hey, let's stop this argument.
if anything should carry on, let's have it on the 'Katrina' thread as per QBN's request.
unless we want to get back to the pure subject of Kanye. speaking of which, what a fuckface.
- ethios0
no political / racial issues in the Katrina thread, ewo
- ethios0
kanye is a straight up idiot. he did it at live 8 too, this was neither the time NOR the place to air these political views. if yopu're gonna have a fundraiser, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do not invite kanye he is a complete tard.
- caulfield0
i think what he did was great - used the opportunity to speak his mind - simple.
Unlike Mike Myers who decided to become a newsman...wtf?
And Iscariot. I bet you still believe Santa exists.
Where do you get your facts? George Bush's website?
- ethios0
caulfield, i feel that is was a reckless thing to do and totally inappropriate at the time, but hey thats just my opinion

It's NOT a black thing ... It's just that the place is unsafe and you get shot at when you try to help.
- mrdobolina0
I thought it was awesome what he did. It needed to be said.
- mrdobolina0
if this tragedy happened in the hamptons, it wouldnt have taken five days to airlift water and food in, simple as that.
- unfittoprint0
and the after party would be totally awesome!

all those (proposed) budget cuts make me think he's not that concerned with the poor.
maybe bush should hook up with Kona and go shooting the homeless.

bush is biased.. maybe not racist or classist. he has never seem anyone of color or difference as an equal in his entire life.. and now as the 'ruler of the free' he will never have that chance.
The fact that his view of the wrld is National Geographic; glossy removed and concise. The fact that he now travels the world for the first time in his life but sees it from the eyes of a world leader means he will never see what we see. He cant he didnt he wont. That is not entirely his fault but more his position in life. His view of the world is no more realistic to you and me as Michel Jacksons view of teh world.. Biased. And we all have our own. So I think the racist card is a bit unfair and overly generic. Bush doesnt care about indiviuals or small groups he is concern with bigger things. That is the nature of teh"trickle down theory". We will get ours eventually.. we just have to wait. Seems like old times.I agree that no state really wants Louisiannas poor. And frankly nor do I but the reallity is we may have a large scale population shift that will affect us all and if we are in this for the long haul we probably have to look for thegreater good down the road. After all we havent been at this whole 'one nation" thing very long..
Think about other nations that have been thru these changes many times. In the end it can only work for so long. Hopefully the cycle will skip my generation.
Oh and "the end is nigh"

what does is it really matter if you like Kanye as an artist or not? i think ppl on these boards are so used to personal attacks that it gets in the way...
i'm not the hugest fan of Kanye's arrogance, but check the clip and give the man some credit.
not only does he acknowledge his own personal hipocracy (shopping before donating), but he speaks from the heart.
if a man can't stand up for his people and what he believes, then what is it really all about?
is there some serious injustice going on .. hell yeah.
rispek to mr. west for growing up fast.
