after watching it, you will pretty much laugh your ass off at how stupid he was.

nothing wrong with him speaking his mind so that people will hear. He is emotional about it - and rightly so. It's not like he's making shit up is it?
- Donvitoviti0
I believe the problem is when and how he said this. Not what he said.
First off there is a time and a place to voice your opinion. This was not one of them. It was not an interview or a plea time to the government, it was very disrespectful. It was a fund raiser to help the people in trouble, and because of his selfishness he completely overshadowed the main point of the show, to recieve help from PEOPLE, not the goverment.
It also did not help that as he spoke he did not come accross as a very fluid speaker which made his statements sound unfound, childish and rediculous.

Wrong or right.
I like that when celebs act like people and not robots reading scripted stuff.

its time to stop pointing at people. nobody thought it would be this bad. we have to just help each other out and stop pushing blame on people.

(Sep 2 05, 23:44)Yes, but come on. Right in the middle of a Red Cross Telethon? Like Chrome said, we really need to quit pointing the finger right now and work at getting the job done.. then analyze it later. He should have been positive and helping raise money at this particular point and time, not going on off on a tangent that would most likely hurt the fund drive. Yes. its all cool to voice your opinion, but man... wrong time and wrong place and very very very disrespectful.
Even if a person really disagrees with something, atleast have respect for the time and need at hand

whoh???? did somebody try and band me or something?

The part about Yahoo News and the White - Find / Black - Loot business is extremely unfair against all news groups.
Yahoo does no editing to news content.
And the case with the Associated Press calling it Looting while the AFP called it Finding is also a case of a lack of agreed upon words.By all technicalitiies, the black male WAS looting and so were the white citizens. AFP was generous to the white citizens for calling it Finding. AP is not racist for using the proper technical term.

People do not understand politics. They don't understand that bitching at the President does not help. They don't understand that each and every single actual decision is made by the Congress and that the President's actual role is to sign or not sign.
The absolutely frightening problem here is not that President Bush isn't helping black people, it's that President Bush CAN'T help these POOR people. It doesn't matter if you're black or white, so long as you're poor. And this cannot be Bush's fault completely.
The matter of the fact is that they if they were to evacutate these low income, penurious people, where would they evacuate to? Other states? Let me tell you right now that no actual statesman wants a bunch of poor people in their backyards. They WILL only be a burden on them. A long term heavy burden if the evacuees decide not to leave.
At this point, while the Congressmen themselves maybe sympathetic to the cause of helping these people, the brilliant thought that "MAYBE, just MAYBE they would go to some other state" is ringing in their minds.
When you're a politician, especially at a time like this, you never win. You will lose one way or another. You let the people evacuate into your region and your regional economy is devastated by the influx of unskilled workers. People will at first welcome them but then bitch at you for poverty, then in the next election campaign your opponent will blame you for the poor economic welfare. You deny entry to these people and the people will find you heartless and your opponent will definitely use it against you.
This is one of the greatest problems in politics. When you cannot satisfy everyone, your flaws will be used against you. This leads to politicians knowing that the only way to "win" is to give into where the money is.

Wow I agree with everything Iscariot wrote, and I think kanye talks to much... not only that, he has poor communication skills ie: "biggest amount" from the video above, and his lame raps.
- Kidneon0
I find it funny that people who posted above, think what kanye said was true or right. Not only is it not true, but it was very unintelligent.
- dahl0
At least he's not a robot.
- kuttyranks0
he a goober with a heavy jaw,he should see about getting that shit fixed
