Thanks :)
Except for you newbies, but it's true, I should be writing this in my blog, haha.
One of the major problems my mom has is the amount of time I spend on the computer. But seriously, I have the worst luck ever. She always notices me on the computer, not doing anything else. It just annoys me so much. I don't spend even 5 hours on the computer, and if I do it also has to do with work. Anyway, I'll be 20 in less than 2 years and I'll be moving out by then.

Jaline-
My dad was abusive physically and my mother mentally and emotionally. I did truly hate my mother until she died, now its just over. my father and I had the ups and downs described in this thread by others but all and all communication is the key. I wouldnt have things any different with my father and stepmother. We argued and fought alot growing up and i got several of the insults you most likely encounter.
When i started out i had no support from either of them as there was no manual labor, they too thought i was wasting my time. 9 years later though, not needing them really makes them want to be there for me.
the best part to me is that my stepmothers children have become MY brother and sister. Everyone in the family will say i'm who brings it all together and allows our family to be great friends.
I guess what i'm saing is that your parents don't know any beter how to be your parents thatn you know how to be thier kid.
Time is the true test, and love is making it work when it seems like it never will.
I wish you the best.

I saw you on myspace through someones profile the other day. not at all what i expected. you seem to be very internal, that probably frustrates your mom a little, not knowing whats going on in your headbut i'm with brooke on this, you're pretty dope and most likely will do some pretty cool stuff before its all said and done

I hate Jaline's mother

Haha, uber.
Thanks version3. Very insightful. It's true, I'm really quiet and it frustrates my mom. She's a morning person, and enjoys talking ALL THE TIME. I'm not, and I don't.
Btw, Do you have a Myspace account?

I think is time to move out.
Both you and your parents need a separate life. And when you begin to live outside your family you will start seeing your parents in a different way, and undestrand many things (at least this happened to me)
