get back at her by getting pregnant and developing a drug habit

haha.
NO WAY I'd marry someone like my mom. Well, I guess I can't say until I get married, but we'll see. My dad can actually live with my mom. I think I'd leave after a few hours. Come to think of it, they don't even get along most of the time.

once you move out, you will only get them in small good doses, and they are happy to see you everytime. maybe they just fear that day.

You're an intelligent interesting woman, Jaline.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Maybe it's time to move out?
From my own experience I know that distance makes parental relations better.

Yes, I'm definitely wanting to move out. My parents don't think I can make out on my own. But...it's different. I mean, you don't really know if you can survive unless you try. I can definitely do without the family relations. Of course, it doesn't hurt my student fees by living at home. But I still do whatever I can around the house whenever I'm free.

I don't hate any of my parents,
but I dont see eye to eye with my father,
but me and mom dukes are coolati'

My father and I get along well (most of the time) because we hardly talk. It's the best when it's just us hanging out at home and cooking or renovating together.

Yeah, I know my parents hate not seeing me. My mom always cries whenever I'm away, like a few times when I went to camp. And I was like 16. She just doesn't know how to show respect I guess.

Check this: two months before I was going to move out of the house, my mom kicked me out!
Asked me to leave as soon as possible, 'cause she can't live another two months with me, after 20 years!?
And leading up to that she was a horrible person to live with.
It's all a game. She did the same thing with my sister, who, after spending 2 years overseas, lived for 2 months with my mom, before she was asked to leave.
She was just dealing with the fact that we are moving on, and propably won't need her as much anymore.

Shouldn't you be writing this up in your blog? Just a thought... :)

or on Live journal. Hold the camera above your head, then open the picture in photoshop and make sure it's burnt out.

if you're in your twenties and haven't moved out yet it's probably time to hit the road...
your relationship with your mom will be better for it.

I've never had any problems with my parents, they've always been really supportive for me and my sister :)

the best way to really appreciate your family is to put some distance between you and them.

Hey jaline, chin up. Don't listen to the negative insults from your mam. I've had some nasty fights with my mam in the past and horrible things were said but sometimes it's just in the heat of the moment and should be forgotten about.
You're a lovely, honest, funny talented lady and don't listen to haters.
I'm sure relations will get better
- saroose0
also, don't worry about turning into your parents. Everyone is an individual.
I know some people who have the nastiest parents but are amazing lovely people.
Just carry on being the lovely way you are and you'll have no problems. xx
