is better than this
http://www.streamhub.com/and everything on that site has been done in the last 5 months
coming soon doesn't mean shit in this business. designing is an occupation not a pastime, though i think you will disagree

Naw; I back the idea that we can all LEARN.
See, I found that I'm a pretty good visual artist at an early age of 17 or 18. I stuck with it. So with out abandoning everything I have ever worked towards till this point (to pursue, lets say, an athlete) How will I ever become a great athlete?
I have chosen something to become good at in my life time; it seems it's all the time we have.
An individual has to spend at least four years becoming a master at something--more depending on what it is i.e. becoming a doctor or a pilot.
We are all perfect in potential; if you want to be a pilot, what's stopping you?
Maybe time, but even that's a lousy excuse.

Designers:
Good Illustrators can be your monkey if they are payed enough. But its' their drawing ability plus thinking ability that makes them good.
Micromanaging people is not only an inefficient use of time, it betrays a lack of trust in the person's ability your working with - which greatly undermines the relationship.
How do you like it when a client gives you a "chicken scratch" of their design ideas for you to slavishly execute?
Will any work created in under this heavyhanded direction be worth remembering? Will this work be something people can actually relate to?
So if you work with good illustrators please try to give them the same respect you'd appreciate from your clients and they will love you.
Cheers,
An illustrator.PS: My clients have been great and I love them. Attik was awesome, New York Sun was great fun.
Everyone else... was good too...except for my brother. (See new topic: free design for family members?)

It's the way our society is shaped and the way our economy moves forward. It was built this way.
Not so good plans for a society aye; not the worst either.

so you are being a child by bringing up sites
to be honest. the measure of talent comes when you go try to get a job at an agency.
not that i am really good at it nor you should but just try and see what happens

mind you i dont need to sell or impress any via my site.
you have seen my work and used my font.
if you wish to continue you with this childish comparison, you could let the peers decide

Not sure how good I am, but I can't draw "well". I love to draw, but I could never sit and draw something realistically.
Illustrators maybe, but as a designer, you must understand type, color and composition more that drawing.

OMG how did i do that?
- MrDinky0
nope
they teach that in school but teaching and doing is seperate thing
i cant...

Version3:
I felt like you were following me home as I looked through your photographs and you came from being in the air to walking the space of Bush Intercontinental Airport.
