safari font problems Nov 12, 08, 8:34 p.m.

When Im searching on safari, some websites (craigslist for example) the fonts aren't showing up on their sites. It looks like messed up fractions, Im guessing my system fonts are screwed up? Ive never messed with my font book or my system fonts! Is there a way to fix this? I use linotype!

Im about to pull the trigger and get a Imac. I do print a web design and really dont know my shit when it comes to hardware. Is there a huge difference between 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and the 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Du? I was thinking refurbished!

Illustrator Problem...shift key not working Aug 8, 08, 11:42 a.m.

I turned my computer on and went into illustrator (cs3) and realized that shift key wasn't working. Im not sure its something in my preferences or a glitch. When I expand something and hold down the shift key it doesn't hold the proportions...it warps all over the place. I restarted but it didn't fix the problem. Anybody have this problem? Im stuck

Me and my partner just got a great opportunity to do a website for pretty reputable winery in Napa Valley! It could end up being more work down the line but they want a new site to launch there new premium wine. Does anyone have any good Winery sites in there book marks? Ive been putting together my portfolio in Illustrator and started to take screenshots of each page to import into a PDF that I can send to clients. The screenshots look good, but when i import them into acrobat they turn blurry. What gives? What are the best files for PDF's? Anybody?

Im doing a emissions consultant website and they want it to have a very Environmental "looking" site, but yet professional and clean! They want to look green, I guess! I have a spred in my master page for our products. When I pull the left page down from the master page it is taking a box from the right side of the spread with it. Why is it doing that and how do get it from doing that....it's not grouped.

Im doing are fall catalog(44pages) and Ive set it up at 8x12.5 landscape. Would it be cheaper to get printed if I set it up at a more standrard size such as 8.5x11 landscape! I havent done a catalog before and Im trying to do this at a resonable price. basically does the size formate make a big dif in price?

Im transfering my fonts to my new laptop. I installed fontexplorer but when I import or drag my font folder of all of my adobe fonts into font explorer I get "No fonts found in selected files or folders" I know the fonts are theyre because they work on my desktop computer with my older font explorer. Im frustrated because I need these fonts today! Any thoughts...

What is the best way to remove software? I just got the suite2 and I want to get rid of all my old software. Does apple have a built in application for this or can I move it to the trash?
