anybody know if it's possible to change the way the info box (y'know, the speech bubble thing that pops up when you click on a marker) looks on a custom map? specifically, to alter the padding inside it. and perhaps the colour. and maybe some other stuff. who knows.

i can't seem to find anything on google about it so i'm presuming not but if anyone knows something to the contrary, kindly share..

How can I check to see if a particular instance name exists in my movie?

Something like:

if(box1.stage) {
trace("exists");
}

but this particular example produces a compiler error if box1 doesn't exist.. Is there a better way to go about it?

ok. so i've got a nice simple form for updating my sql database. on submit, it goes to "page2.php" a la $updateGoTo = "section4.php";

problem is, i'd like it to be able to goto a dif page depending on the input of one field..

so if 'id4' value is '2', it goes to page1.php
else it goes to page2.php
for instance.

this has to be doable surely..(?)

web designer. 1 year professional experience. 5 years doing it for fun. what can i expect?

i've just finished university and i've been offered a job with a small but relatively successful company. 'yay' for me.
however, the £ they offered seems awfully low for what they want out of me.
i've been doing a lot of work for them in the past year.. done the whole meeting clients through to completing a site thing.. and they seem to like what i've done (seeing as they asked me to go fulltime) but i'm feeling severely undervalued.
i can't even say what they offered because; a) prying eyes. b) i'm ashamed.

any ideas what i should be expecting?
