is there a quick and easy way of making my query (SELECT FROM etc...) ignore the first record it finds?

SELECT * From MyTable WHERE someID '1'

ta! but i wanted it to ignore the first record, not select it :)
no probs tho, as i have cracked it. doesn't that always happen as soon as you ask a question.
ah well. thanks anyway :)

i put in the not equal signs prior to the '1'
i guess NT doesn't allow < >...
probably because that would work like some kinda sql injection attack no?

Just stick "LIMIT 1,*" at the end of your sql query, and it'll retrieve from the 2nd record it comes across (0 being the '1st' item in any array), and * being however many records you want to grab..
