Yesterday the police started putting up tape all around the patch of land outside the back of my flat while I was cooking lunch. Sirens had been going a little previously (not overly unusual round my bit), but I hadn't seen or heard anything.

just a wee wondering – if you were to be given the perfect design brief, what would it contain and how would it read?

I mean in terms of structure, goals, useful information, formating; not "I'd love a Nike poster" ;) you know what I mean.

We've all had some very shitty briefs. I'm sure, which leave you more mystified than before you read them, so if you were in charge of writing it, what would you do differently?

Sunday I was lawn bowling with a carry out and some pals in the glorious spring sunshine; today there is lightning right over the city and the loudest thunder I have ever heard. I remember, perhaps unwisely, sitting on my balcony on the top floor of our apartment building in spain, watching fork lighting crash into the balaeric isles and dance all across the sky in front of us for over an hour and a half - quite the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Thankfully up here we don't get much of the forked stuff, so I'm unlikely to be frazzled today but its hell of a loud, like bombs going off.

Anyone else in glasgow hearing this?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone else thought it would be a great idea to have a button (perhaps next to the permalink?) which would create a tiny black hole around the poster's position for long enough to explode, rearrange and collapse their entire atomic information, say if they were pissing you off?
