Dear Nt,

With out ado, here is a logo that I wish to have critiqued.

I seek to make a small freelance gig. nurban isn't supposed to be New Urban, Nu rban, but a combination of Nature and Urban.

I live in Minnesota where the peeps are quite familiar with the outdoors. i am trying to put the area where I live into my work without going overboard with trees, skyscrapers, and shit.

Further along (note 'lack of portfolio' thread for reference), i wish to showcase my skills of illustration, print, web, and a clear communication of the aforementioned.

Dear QBN,

Please have a look at the site I have worked on. The client has finally gotten back to me after 5 months (good thing I had money paid throughout the process). The "brief" was to create a more modern site presenting the same information a bit differently and it had to be done in 30 hours (as per my fees).

All comments are welcome; I just hope some constructive ones come too. I am not entirely happy about it, but it is just about ready to go live. I was thinking about making a form-based Contact Us page, but I haven't done so yet.

i have an image of a person cutting metal. i would like to make the image greyscale EXCEPT for the sparks. i would like for them to retail their original color. what are some ways I could go about this? channels? 3rd party filters?

any help (that works) could warrant some brew in the minnesota area.
