There was a great skit on comedy central last night about this whole Michael Steele (first black head of the GOP) thing, Palin vs. Clinton, and tickle me elmo ripoffs... Anything the Dems do now, the republicans try to come out with this cheap ass second rate ripoff version. This is obviously their attempt at Obama's website, not too mention the new whitehouse.gov as they desperately attempt to reconnect to anyone so foolish to take the time to reconsider if they are the best choice for direction of this country. It is quite sad, they have no voice and no new ideas.

Yikes. Besides looking bad, they're using Dreamweaver with templates and have no idea what they're doing JavaScript-wise. (Trying to load Scriptaculous without Prototype?? Then doing everything with jQury anyway.) I wonder how this thing fares against XSS and SQL injection . . .

looks good. smart direction for them to go. refacing themselves online is step one in a rebranding excercise that they need.
don't think of them as the party of mccain, bush, etc. think of them as a company who needed a facelift. In that regard they accomplished the first step positively.
