Ok guys this is fun... and weird at the same time.
So, I have a new client she owns a really nice restaurant the owner happens to be my ex from 4 months ago. She asked me to do a refresh on the establishment new menus, photography, promotions etc. I have accepted to do project after she accepted my quote. So far so good, I've been focusing only on the job no distractions. However, a couple of days ago a bump into the new bf hahaha pretty fun.. I said hi you know I wasn't doing anything wrong, but the guy looked pretty mad. So they had an argument. It seems she didn't care.

What forecast do you guys expect for

Mexico - Road Trip Apr 20, 09, 11:20 p.m.

I'll be leaving for 5 days with 2 friends to a road trip in Mexico. We will be visiting, San Luis Potosi, Xilitla, Guanajuato, San Miguel De Allende, Guadalajara and Sayulita beach. Wish us luck, we will try to avoid hot spots where trafficking wars are going on.

Some one here have a great idea, I will document the trip and post photos, hope it goes well.

Guys, I have a meeting with a potential client in 10 days, he asked me to take along a portfolio so we can go over my projects. I use to take a physical portfolio 5 years ago now I usually use an ipad.

Do you guys have physical portfolios? if yes? share some tips on finishes and paper types.

Hello guys,

Well, I've been pondering about car magnets.
On my way to the office every morning I notice people use them quite a lot. One day I called a mortgage agent by using the magnet on the car proving that sometimes it is reliable.

Now, my question is. Would it be a good idea to have some done for the kind of services I provide? I've never seen one before that advertises graphic design meaning that probably it isn't a good idea. I'm very selective on the types of clients I take in, but this been bothering me for quite some time.

What do you guys think?

Hi everyone,

Well I've been doing print design for almost 10 years. I love what I do ups and downs I've been constant striving for the best. However, I also love restaurants, the food, meeting people, the process of getting everything together and putting it on a table, experimenting, the noises of people chatting in the background etc etc.

I've dealt with restaurants before, but today I was offer a manager position for a restaurant that is about to open. The owner is a current client for whom I've designed a lot restaurant related projects. The money is good and since my ultimate goal is opening a restaurant, I believe it will be a good starting point to gain experience.

Of course I will still do a lot of freelance, but I will have to leave my part-time job as an art director.

What would you do in my shoes?
