What do you use and like?

Kind of bouncing around trying to find the best solution. Usually not the one doing wireframes, but found I'm in need of creating some for a few web app UIs.

I've tried Balsamiq and MockingBird. Their OK, but find the tools a bit annoying. Would almost rather just use Illustrator or something, with a set of symbols or mocked ui components.

This shit just happened yesterday two blocks from my house. I know this goes on all over, but never happened so close to me before.

What fucked me up the most, is that the daughter was attacked too. She's 8 years old. She used to go to school with my son. Scares the crap out of me when I think that could have been one of my kids in the hospital with a fractured skull.

I don't want a gun or anything like that, but considering getting _something_. Any of you out there have something in their house/apartment for self defense?

I've owned one suit in my life, and don't plan on wearing this much at all. I need it for a wedding, but want something I can use later as well.

Any tips on styles? I want something classic enough that when I pull it out of the closet in a few years people don't laugh at me, at least anymore than they already do. I live in Portland, so you can imagine that we aren't real formal here. (no I'm not going to buy a suit with a bird on it)

Anyone have any suggestions for software to help organize, name, tag music files? iTunes does a somewhat decent job, but looking for apps that offer more features. Here's two I found real quick, but haven't tried either.
