Any good examples out there of Digital only branding?

Please don't shoot back "good design rules apply everywhere" and "fuck gimmicks" comments but I'm interested in animation as part of branding language, sound design as branding etc. In the same way I guess marks/logos which change/modify/adapt based on a set of parameters are interesting as well.

hello all.

I've just received an e-mail from a client explaining that "he would love too" but is unable to give me any payment for a website design I'm doing. He wants to pay me further ahead (when there is enough money in the company).

previously we had spoken about payment and agreed that I would have something as compensation for my work. I mentioned a number to him which is about 1/4 of what I would charge otherwise.

Now I get this e-mail and have sent off some sketches that he really liked. Sounds to me like he's just trying to get some free work.

Anyway. How would you deal with this? Finish the layout anyway and wait for payment? Cut it all of until he can pay?

I really like the design and would like to have in my portfolio. But at the same time - I need to pay my rent.

Any words of advice would be much appreciated.

hiya... anyone got any adivice on where to print club flyers in east london, and possibly also what printing might cost?

i want to print full colour standard quality, standard size, standard, paper flyers (ca 500 copies) - anyone know the costs of something like this in round figures??
