Has anyone ever had books printed from blurb or lulu or the like? I was curious about the quality of the printing. It seems so inexpensive, especially for low volume offset printing (at least for blurb, i couldn't find much about the printing process for lulu). Or if you have any other recommendations maybe? Help a brother out. Thanks

It's a new product by microsoft, said to be going head to head with flash. they also said that unlike all the other times, microsoft will have good support for mac. Any opinions?

I know you need a special adaptor to convert electricity to whatever standard we have in the u.s, but I was wondering if you could use that same converter for a laptop, or do you need a special cord? I would think you could use it like any other appliance, but I wasn't sure.

Hello fellow NTers. I need some help. I just met this girl about a month ago at a McDonalds...
advertising seminar. We've been keeping in contact, and even showed each other our work a few days ago.

We were talking and she told me she'd love to have me design her website, once she has her stuff ready, and I said I could.

This would be the first time I've charged someone. Everything I've read on the internet tells me I should charge her, but I still feel weird about it. I already said I could do it, but that doesn't imply anything does it? I have a feeling this is gonna suck, but I figure if I don't start now I'll be making excuses for a while. Should I charge her hourly or by the project, and how much should I charge?

And this isn't my first website, I've made about three variations of my portfolio (which two were never published, and one is finished and about to go online), and I've made it about halfway through a website that changed owners, but was looking good when they told me to abandon it. Wow this is long. Any advice at all?

Hey, my name's Anthony. I figured I should start an intro thread instead of poking around like some random creepo. Yes there is a NT Virgin thread, but I've been here for a while, and I'm an attention whore anyways.. so.. here goes:

It's my last year in college.. I do graphic design, web design, illustration, some experimentation and a good mix of other stuff.
