i've updated an image based navigation on a website and now lots of people complain about the old images getting mixed up with the new ones.

is there a way to make the browser download the newest images without having to refresh or Ctrl+F5.

i want to combine multiple (existing) blogs within one website. what's the best way to deal with it?

framesets? i thought of a topframe wich holds the navigation and open the blogs in an underlying frame

iframes? same as above but with an iframe

other? please fill in...

so i've been fine with SWFObject v1.5 for a long time but am now going to make the swith to v2.0.
the only thing that holds me back is the user now gets directed to the adobe update page and doesn't get redirected to the orginal page after de upgrade is finished.
maybe i'm missing something but i've tested this in several browsers with different flashplayers, anybody got any experience on this subject or could recommend other methods of detection.

i'm planning to build a shopping cart in flash and was wondering what would be the best way to keep track of the items inside it. Undo already told me of using a multidimensional array but now i just read about the shared object. that looks particularly handy as the user will leave the site for it's payment and then gets send back for a detailed overview of his payment.

i'm just looking for a bit more insight or helpfull tips, thanks.

i'm currently facing a wall and have a window on the right hand side. i'm planning of seating myself in front of the window from now on. but is it good in terms of incoming light, will it blank out my monitor on bright days, is it better to have the light fall in from behind, in short, are there any rules to follow?

i'm having the biggest trouble disabling the vertical scroll bar in firefox.
