  i've updated an image based navigation on a website and now lots of people complain about the old images getting mixed up with the new ones.

  is there a way to make the browser download the newest images without having to refresh or Ctrl+F5.

  Firefox 3 has some pretty fucked up caching issues.

  Also, if your users are developers and are running Firebug, you will get false bug reports, and terrible caching issues. Be warned yo!
