I have been editing a video for work but final cut is being a bitch. I keep getting dropped frames and I cant scrub through the project when editing without skipping. I searched online for answers and tried what apple suggests but I still get no solution. Anybody else have any ideas?

This is the second time in 3 weeks my boss has asked me to come in on a saturday. WTF, does this happen to you guys too. If you were to ask my boss he would tell you its pretty common in the industry (advertising) but it just seems like he wants to get me alone for a little PIITB.

I saw this documentary about Abu Ghraib last night on HBO. It was pretty terrifying listening to what was going on in that prison. I actually felt bad for some of the guards too, the ones that participated in all the torture. It just sounded like the whole place was hell and its hard to stay sane in there.

I've been trying to edit some photos and when I save them to CMYK and reopen them later I get an error message.

"Could not complete your request because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found."

WTF am I doing wrong or is this another stupid CS3 bug?

Why do cable company's still require beta tapes. I'm fucking sick of it, and 90% of them won't convert dvd or mini dv inhouse even though they have the technology. Anybody else have to deal with this shit?
