Future City Illustrations Oct 9, 08, 5:37 p.m.

I am trying to learn more about those early 1920's-ish (I am guessing here) illustrations of future cities. It's a style I know so little about and It's even hard for me to come up with proper search terms. Can anyone help me out with some links, artist names, etc? Thanks!

Setting a Screen for Screen Printing Sep 16, 08, 11:27 a.m.

I am making my own frames and I'd like to use a staple gun to secure the screens onto the frame. I will have access to an unlimited number of frames, so I would like to keep them in tact with the screen permanently attached.

Has anyone had experience stapling screens to frames? Is there a better way?

In the past I have used rope to fasten the screen to the frame, but since materials aren't an issue, I'd like to keep everything put together.

Does anyone have a D80 and/or have any thoughts on the camera? I'm looking to pick one up in a week or so.

I need to make the switch to digital finally. I don't have time to develop my own film anymore and getting it processed is, well... I have about 30 rolls of shot film just sitting around my house.

Is it possible to make a screen from fabric that I can get at Michaels, Walmart, Art Supply store, etc...?

So there's been lots of talk about t.v. shows, but rarely do I hear three of the sweetest words - Trailer Park Boys.

Seriously Canada, you've done good. You've done a wonderful thing that would/could never, ever be created for American tv.

I didn't think TPB could get better than Season 4 - you know with the fields of marijuana, Steve French, Conky, etc.. - but Season 6 & 7 are fucking amazing as well.

I'm designing a myspace page for an artist and have been banging my head constantly for the past few hours looking for good resources on myspace coding. Every myspace layout site I find is geared towards the youngins (animated heart .gifs and the like).

I have coded several myspace pages in the past, but I'd like to pull off something a little different.

Does anyone know of a good glossary of editable myspace code? Maybe a few of your favorite band pages for inspiration?

I can always just rip off some code and modify it, but I'd like to know what my options are.
