I'm trying to identify these two fonts?

Are they the same? I realise the lines in the middle are probably drawn, however what are these condensed specimens?

Hello chaps,

I know there's no definitive answer on this, but I wanted to know, from a designers perspective are there any problems with the glossy screens on the MBP's? And which screen option do you prefer?

I want to get a glossy screen, but not if it's going cause problems with reflection. I've looked at both in the Mac store and they both seem great, but that's not really a fair indication.

I'd love to know your thoughts...

Raid 1 mirroring worth it? Sep 14, 09, 6:05 a.m.

I just bought a MY BOOK STUDIO EDITION II (2TB)...

I feel like using Raid 1 mirroring is a waste of money for the drive. Because it's only going to give me the capacity of one drive. But with the security of it being mirrored.

The reason I ask, is what is the likely-hood of my iMac and a single external backup crashing at the same time? I'm thinking not likely.

I was planning on splitting the two drives and using one for a MAC OS X backup, and the other for my own manual backup (music, projects, photos etc).

Am I being a foolish fool? Should I mirror my OS X backup for extra security?

I'm about to loose it. I have search for the past hour on the web regarding this, and I'm hoping someone here may have some insight.

I have an SD card that works fine in my Leica camera... take pictures, pictures get stored on SD card. All good here...

Now, when I connect the camera to my computer with the SD card in the camera I can get my photos off the camera, but I want to store some files on the SD card. When I try to put files on the SD card, it says it's 'write protected'. And before you ask, yes I have checked the that 'lock' on the side of the card isn't on.

When I 'get info' (mac) on the card, it indeed says I can 'only read' the contents.

I want to know how the heck I can unlock the SD Card so I can write to it, or format it. I can't even format it on my Mac! haha wtf.
