What's the best method to prevent spam when putting an email address on your website's contact page?
Is the best way to just put
myname [at] somewhere.comUsing the square brackets?

contact form guarantees you don't loose any emails to spam filters.
also launching someone's email program is a bitch if they use web based email - nothing more annoying than having outlook open up when you use gmail.
