Hey,
I've been away from these matters for too long.
if I want to relatively quickly set up a webshop selling physical goods from home, what is the obvious choice?
- Something that isn't integrated in an existing site for now, and doesn't have to have its own domain
(so webshopservice.com/mywebshop is fine)- Something very user friendly, where I can have something up and running fast. Upload payment information, images and descriptions of the goods and done.
Is it, uh, Shopify? Something else?
OMG Thanks you guiiiiise

I'd love to say SuiteCommerce, but Shopi seems the best option.

Ever heard of Square (not Squarespace)? I haven't maybe because it's a US thing: https://squareup.com/us/en
My friend who I'm asking uses it for card payments. But it apparently also has full website templates and e-commerce.
Any good?
- I am working on this, the website creation from square is a partnership with webflow.Salarrue
- Webflow has ecommerce CMS included?
But it's platform lock-in********

If you're just wanting to sell a small number of not-too customisable things, from a site you administer, might you be able to make do with just the paypal 'buy now' buttons, added to your site?
- Not for me, and not a small number of things. Hundreds of things :)
It's for a friend of mine, he's a ceramic artist.jagara
