It's called 'work' for a reason, you're not supposed to enjoy it, if you did, it'd be called 'play'.

Lots of people work hard, doing things they don't like.
Others make a lot more money, not really doing anything at all and contribute nothing at the end of the day.

By 50 i hope to have chucked a big rock into a volcano. By 60 i hope to have run someone through with a rapier in a gentleman’s duel. By 70 i hope to have camped with a fire by the side of a road with a motorcycle and a dog. By 80 i hope to become the science engineer in a post-apocalyptic colony somewhere in the desert.

There was probably a time in your life that you didn't think about design. Like when you were a kid.
Is there any there there to pull from?
Do you think if you accomplished some of these "goals", you would have renewed energy?
Or is this just a job thing?
And if it is, maybe you're bored with the client(s), and not the work?
Some would say, "Challenge yourself professionally", go after a bigger position at a bigger agency because if you don't have any other passions then maybe your calling is to move up the chain!?
I digress, what were your childhood aspirations that still sound fun and fulfilling to your soul?
All the love in the world,
