Today I tried to draw some machine parts to re-generate some other part sheets from them, which I did. It more or less worked, creating an infinitea mount of machine parts that I'd use for kitbashing backgrounds.

I also threw it into a vascular nightmare generator that had some interesting outcomes.
-- Your stuff is literally the best stuff I've seen people using this shit. The way YOU are working with this tech is truly inspiring, man.Nairn
- Cheers Nairn, I share some of the stuff with my mate at work and he always says but it looks a bit badly drawn. :-) But that's sort of the aim.PhanLo
- Everyone likes the perfect stuff, which the AI does well, (minus fingers) but I really like making it seem more like something I might draw.PhanLo
- Some of my favourite stuff I've was loads of images of Egon Schiele doing graffiti through a 7.5mm fisheye in Japan. So they were all drawn in a line art stylePhanLo
- but had Egon Schiele style posters and murals on the walls of this weird Tokyo street scene. Occasionally they would look like something I would draw.PhanLo
- "he always says but it looks a bit badly draw" lol, and therein lies the art :) But yes, it's that aspect I most admire.Nairn
- I think I broke my Mac from having too many windows open in my browser so it might be a wee while before I get back to it. Facepalm dot gifPhanLo
- Nairn's right. Great work and it's always interesting to see what pops up on here as a result of experimenting with apparent 'career killers'Ianbolton
- Yeah, fantastic stuffscarabin

Personally, I'm finding the more I try to use Dall-e mid journey etc the more I'm going back to hand drawing. It's more direct, more control, not a shot in the dark of frustration.
It's like driving a stick-shift vs "driving" a car on auto pilot.
look guise I just broke the record at Suzuka. promt:
über fast, cornering grip, apex, Michael Schumacher, speed record, drafting, drifting, F1, aerodynamic, perfect shifts, redline, push the limits, fast and furiousI'm a professional driver! ( ralphie picking his nose.gif)
- That's great to hear. Messing with the AI stuff kickstarted a creative thing for me again. I'd more or less given up drawing, but now want to do more again.PhanLo
- yeah awesome, and I think that's important, use it as a tool to inspire, kickstart something, enhance what you already do exactly like what you're doing_niko
- Always felt it was more in line with photo editing.jonny_quest_lives
- Art needs a certain amount of suffering and pain lol_niko
- it could be Johnny, but there is also Ansel Adams tracking through the wilderness, looking of the perfect conditions and perfect landscape, toiling,_niko
- in the darkroom , with the prints, and after literally months of work, he produces a masterpiece. Vs giving AI a prompt and it kicking out 1000's of Adams like_niko
- pics in mere minutes. so yea it can be used like photo editing but most people try to replace Adams himself._niko

- My only critique is for peeps who are generally instantly satisfied with the outputs... I find most stuff needs post noodling/retouch...jonny_quest_lives
- and if u have the skill to resolve those errors you generally find yourself in _niko's position.jonny_quest_lives
- There's also this weird right wing now I can do what you do stance with a lot of the technology boosters in the space.jonny_quest_lives
- As if graphic designer's/artists are some sort of rich illuminati versus invoice to invoice living normal peepsjonny_quest_lives
- Phan lo has shown useful use cases that get me hopeful for the tech...jonny_quest_lives
- The your time is up crowd toxicity I see on Twitter is off putting and a Zero sum game in the end. So hats off to Phan lo for keeping me hopefuljonny_quest_lives
- Well said Johnny couldn’t agree more_niko

- I've been using it like a poor person at a free bar. It'll disappear and become something boring at some point so I better drink all I canPhanLo

- haha :) I wasted a lot of time trying to get this shite to generate letterblock sets and fonts, to absolutely no avail. Visually, almost, the absolute nonsense.Nairn
- Good for alien languages in Horror Channel alien B-Movies :-)PhanLo
- Definitely some interesting glyphs in there.i_monk
- I found with getting it to do tags and graffiti it also made up it's own style that wasn't properly humanPhanLo

- Nice...my eyes are telling me that you used one of your drawings as the visual prompt.utopian
- I used a quite psychedelic pattern as the base that I'd draw, which led to some of the strange curves but I really like some of the negative space it makes.PhanLo
- These would be perfect to stick letters on as it only hints at mechanical parts but has some nice texture. I'll sort the images out and upload more soon :-)PhanLo

- My brother in christ what industry do you work in? this was never a career choice for the weak https://i.imgflip.co…jonny_quest_lives
- saw a thread on twitter where a Filmmaker wanted a film festival poster for $250 and ended up using AI after being rejected by Posterspy for not posting the adjonny_quest_lives
- Filmmaker then went on an unhinged internet attack about it all...jonny_quest_lives

Looks like companies / 'content contributors' are already using this generic schlock to make tat for people's walls.
I need to get a move on and wedge my angle in this before it's too late.
Good to see the bar set so low, mind...
:\
- *using this to make generic schlock...
My brain's been mush all day. Apparently I can't stay up 'til 3am on a schoolnight without consequence... hoo noo?Nairn - I was thinking last night, along these lines - ''editions of one" are a poorer idea than "editions of a small handful". I'd prior thought the former.Nairn
