comparison MJ vs. SD for the same prompt:
"Peter Stormare, big Lebowski , Gta vice city, GTA 5 cover art, borderlands style, cel-shading, trending on artstation"
- so still telling me no Photoshop? LOL
the backgrounds are clearly not MJ AT LEASTgrafician - also asking the model for portraits when it was optimised for square images always gives "mixed" results so in no way that guy exported perfect portraits commongrafician
- read the medium article posted in the Ramanisky2 post. some hints there on width/height ratio and the experimental styles they are testing.uan
- @uan that's an old article I already knew all that and no, still not explaining these almost "perfect" portraitsgrafician
- go play with it instead of arguing nonsense here.:-)uan
- I've been doing that for months now, from DALL E to SD and MJ lol

I know when to call bullshitgrafician - *all my posts in these threadsgrafician
- as in I know the limits of each model so in no way you get good results straight up from any of these
as they say "haters say it's photoshop" yeah ofcgrafician - I know you have access. just saying the more precise you prompt, the better the results. it's a game of try and error and see if the machine understands you.uan
- it's the same creative process as drawing/painting/sea... stock images, just with a really fast (but sometimes stupid) rendering tool.uan
- No, not really, precision is not crucial at all, you just gotta hit "dream" or whatever hundreds of times and hope you get a good one, no kiddinggrafician
- so still telling me no Photoshop? LOL

- just ad some background description and image ratio to the prompt and you are good.uan
- so the guy lied that was the straight up MJ prompt used as we clearly see there's no match in the details and backgrounds ffsakegrafician
- what are you talking about...he just gave a more complete description on what he wanted and mj rendered it.uan

- Have doubts this is straight unedited Midjourney.

- Details in the hair, hands almost good, yeah no still don't buy it even tho' he said it was straight MJgrafician
- And optimising for faces while the rest of the details are still shit is not an advancement for MJgrafician

- LOL, sted.palimpsest
- grafi be like:

Would not prompt.palimpsest - @pali LOL truegrafician
- I mean, the things I've seen generated by these models...
smhgrafician - show us your prompts graf_me_
- Yes this looks almost too good to be true. Very high detail and very defined. No smears, no uneven blotches or deformations.NBQ00
- All fantastic +Wordsworth
- grafi, what in the details bothers you?
Draw red circles around it.palimpsest - I think the buttons are a nice touch, or maybe they're faked to make it look less (or more) real? But I'm looking for your expert opinion.palimpsest

My enthusiasm in the beginning has faded a bit. For some reason I never get clean and precise results no matter what prompts I put in.
Every time I try to get some character or animal I always get some distorted piece of shit result. Often something like a siamese thing with two eyeballs fit in one eyesocket.
I put in prompts like "photo real, ultra realistic, high detail" etc etc. I even use the prompts generator but I get crappy shit anyway.
It's kinda frustrating to see all these high-fidelity results by other people and I get crap results no matter what I do.
- Creating variations improves the result, to me that's when the good stuff comes up.spl33nidoru
- Shit In > Shit Out.Nairn
- I try variations but all I get is basically very identical looking images. And I mean pretty much 95%-98% identical. So often variations are just useless.NBQ00
- I really don't get what y'all's doing.palimpsest
- you need to use the language that is used in the associated text when presenting images. like writing clickbait for what you want to seekingsteven
- I still haven't had problems talking with AI, maybe that is a problem I should look into.palimpsest

MidJourney VS Stable Diffusion: Same Prompt, Different Results
If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the lookout for new and interesting AI art generator tools. They are popping up like mushrooms on the internet these days.
Two of my latest favorite tools right now are MidJourney and Stable Diffusion.
Over the past few months, MidJourney text-to-art AI tool has had several significant improvements. The results are now more detailed and portrait’s face features are now more proportional.

Instagram is getting flooded with "AI artists". I see photographers and others who completely switched to only posting Midjourney generated pieces instead of their usual stuff.
- Oh My God!palimpsest
- I've seen a lot of talented illustrators ditching their usual graft and switching to low-effort AI posts. Sad.microkorg
- Yes, my Explore is now 90% "AI artists" instead of the usual painters and illustrators and graphic designers - some accounts have hundreds of posts alreadygrafician
- but all their posts look the same - mostly fantasy or cyberpunk inspired shit, it's kinda the same "artist" and these people just repost him somehow very weirdgrafician
- One Photographer I saw had like on average 100-150 likes on his posts. When he switched to AI posts he got like 5K-10K+ likes. lolNBQ00
- Just pay "artists" by the hour.palimpsest

- Yes, for the art directors is very welcomed to churn concepts easily
Problem are the "AI artists" that never drawn something and now they think are the shitgrafician

- These are incredible. I like using Dall-E 2 to make creepy old images. These are really impressive.mg33
