wired: dealing with liberal onescolin_s - you all are doing thanksgiving? Hunkering down for wave 2... enjoying the sun before the numbers tick upjonny_quest_lives
- Hell no I'm not having thanksgiving dinner if that's what you meannb
- @jonny_quest_lives wave 2 is canceled, dude. The election is over. No more covid. LOLKrassy
- My mother in law is a trump fan. I can’t wait to see her all sour at MY table.monospaced

- DC is just a city. New York is a massive state. NYC hates Trump but there is a lot of New York State that totally different.monospaced
- NYC which is bigger than DC “lived it” for sure. But New York State has thousands of times more voters.monospaced
- yeah, i get it.. just poking fun.plash
- Wow NYS... almost 20 million people and less than 7 million votes. Bigly sad!nb
- I think there are 10 million eligible voters though so not bad I think._niko

so. The orange man could be on his last days after all.
Still. Even if Biden wins, the USA are fuuucked up right now! All that division means chaos down the line.
- True, but the orange cuck is such a disgrace, fuuuck. The fact this idiot has a chance to win after that 4-year shit show means people are plain dumb.babydick
- I absolutely agree, the man s a compulsive liar, rapist, racist etc and he's still in Office and could get a second mandat, its mindboggglingBennn

Still worried about Arizona...is that a completely done deal?
- Pony knows ;)OBBTKN
- fox news gave it to Biden, so yeah, that's pretty much a done dealSteveJobs
- ap is calling it.plash
- It's done. Most of the votes left to count are Maricopa (Phx) and Pima (Tucson) counties. They're polling blue first of all. Tucson is D af and Phx has beenmathinc
- headed that way too. Also, the remaining ballots are mostly mail AFAIK, heavy Biden tilt.mathinc
- Right...thanks. I have a nunch of relatives in Tucson...and yes, they're all Dems.BusterBoy
- nunch? FFS.BusterBoy

"The Biden campaign has reacted to Trump's lawsuits in Wisconsin:
"When Donald Trump won Wisconsin in 2016 by roughly the same amount of votes that Joe Biden just did, or won Michigan with fewer votes than Joe Biden is winning it now, he bragged about a 'landslide,' and called recount efforts 'sad,'" campaign spokesman Andrew Bates says.
"What makes these charades especially pathetic is that while Trump is demanding recounts in places he has already lost, he's simultaneously engaged in fruitless attempts to halt the counting of votes in other states in which he's on the road to defeat. This is not the behavior of a winning campaign. Plain and simple, Donald Trump has lost Wisconsin, he is losing Michigan, and he is losing the presidency. Put another way, 'It is what it is.'"

as of 3pm bookmakers have it 78% for Biden and 22% for Trump after trump was favoured by as much as 74% at 10pm last night
- dorf0
Senate will most likely be 50/50 with independents on Dems side. Tiebreaker will be VP - hopefully, it's Harris.

Trump is trying to stop the votecount in some states while demanding that they continue the votecount in other states.
Biden says let's be patient and count all the votes.

Only one of these positions is called democracy.

To all you non-americans, america is divided and hurting. We all know that nothing unites the usa like invading another country.
So who's going to take one for the team?
- well thankfully we don't have to worry about a war with 'Chayna' any time soon..SteveJobs
- Wales has a shortage of McDonalds when you get into the sticks.fadein11
- I'm not going to comment this, sincerelly...OBBTKN
- You meant 'Whales' surely, fadein?

For the first time, CNN is projecting a win ahead of AP for an MI win.
They've been very conservative so far giving wins to Biden which I figured was strategic to get worried Dems to the polls
- BusterBoy4
Can't believe so many Democrats saying they are disappointed and it's a failure if Biden only just wins.
What a crock of horseshit.
Beating an incumbent, especially one that as such a strong base of support is a monumental achievement...even if they only just scrape across the line. Should not be underestimated.
And I really couldn't give a stuff about the Senate or anything else at this point. The number objective was to remove the giant orange shitstain from office, and it looks like that will happen.
Cue the lawsuits against Trump and his children now. Delicious!
- Lot's of people are old and like to yell at clouds a lot... but it's a clear day outside.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯SteveJobs - Agreed. Can't wait for the lawsuits.mathinc
- Excuse the issing letters...spilt coffe on my keyboard and keys are sticky!BusterBoy
- MISSING ffs!
And coffee!BusterBoy - covfefe!SteveJobs
- lol stevefadein11
- WE GOT HIMnb
- AGREED. Landslides defeats historically come after 2 term incumbents... this is YUUUGE... Retool Dem outreach for 2022 midterms for the Senate...jonny_quest_lives
- Yeah Trump was a unique threat and was really dragging USA and the world in a dangerous direction.yuekit
- As I see it it's a defeat for this entire global "right-wing populist" (aka fascism lite) movement. Trump was hero for many of them, as stupid as that sounds.yuekit
- Lot's of people are old and like to yell at clouds a lot... but it's a clear day outside.

So do you guys think Trump will leave the Whitehouse before or after he has started a civil war?
- I'd picture something along those lines: https://youtu.be/Z6X…zarkonite
- idk, i'm just looking forward to his concession speechSteveJobs
- Civil war between what groups fighting over what exactly?monospaced
- I’m being purposefully dense because let’s be honest, it’s all a little vague what people are really triggered over.monospaced
- mono easy. salt of the earth red-blooded americans against the satanic worshipping libtard socialist immigrant BLM antifa freedom hating someone or other_niko

Ok so it comes down to...
Biden needs either
Pennsylvania
OR
any 2 out of 5 of the other remaining states. (of GA, NC, NV, AZ or AK)
He's leading in two of the remaining, but still a lot of votes to count. Looks like Biden just MIGHT take this thing!
- Really, he just needs to maintain momentum in NV. That's it. Mail in votes will prob further shift things his way, so...SteveJobs
- (that's assuming MI doesn't flip, which at this point seems highly unlikely)SteveJobs
- he will but Trump will fuck with everyone as long as he canBennn
- NV will release more results tonight, guessing enough to know if it'll stay blue. AZ should be tonight also. Could be able to pop some bubbly within hours.mathinc
- Next up, order Kevlar vests for the family so we can survive the civil war.mathinc
- grafician2
You guys can wait until tomorrow to be sure, but it's over...
Biden 253
Trump 213Biden just needs Nevada to win, but he'll win in the other remaining states too.
Dems keep the House and maybe they can push even a Senate majority with the help of independents.
Told you to chill...
Best of luck fixing America in the next 4 years, cuz it's a mess rn
- 253 + 6=270 now?nb
- yeah, Arizona is about to be confirmed won. So he just needs Nevada and it's donegrafician
- the latest I see is 264 - 214 so yeah just Nevada nowgrafician
- you can keep wasting time still watching, but I'm done heregrafician
- Where are you seeing 264nb
- https://www.economis…grafician
- plus various maps on twitter showing AZ already won, but like I said, you guys can keep watching the show, going to bed nowgrafician
- Oh also SteveJobs was right, this looks like Biden gonna get 280 after all.grafician
- oh also he got over 71 mil votes by now, still counting. Winning the popular vote by 2-3 mil is something, nobody can deny that.grafician
- anyway good luck with thisgrafician

I awoke this morning to a Brexit-like dreadhorror in my stomach, seeing his lead. Throughout the day I've read your posts and checked out some of your links (thanks, particularly, to Yuekit) and appreciated the subtlety of delay in the American election process and have gradually seen Trump's lead slip to the point I'm now feeling a little bit better about the world.
I think Biden's a terrible candidate for President, but he'll do until the dementia results come in and he has to hand over to America's First Female President. Finally.
- +1fadein11
- what happens if he can no longer serve? VP takes over temporarily and then snap election? or do they still wait until end of term?_niko
- huh. I just assumed VP would assume position and bring in a new VP. They vote for the party at this stage, right? I genuinely don't know, hahaNairn
- +1 and another for yuekitMrT
- The media wrote stories about exactly what was going to happen
https://www.reuters.…yuekit - But nonetheless everyone fell for it. You could have made a fortune betting on the various outcomes as the odds swung back and forthyuekit

They built a wall around the White House so when they steal the election via the courts, the people can’t burn down it down. I’m not holding my breath. This is going to be a long month.
- SteveJobs-6
- Well sort of, but also every other vote from the millions who voted.nb
- @SteveJobs
Thanks for your insight, that's some tip-top reasoning right there!palimpsest - Right, I'm just saying in the final two states that are giving Biden the edge, the slim margin can be quantified in a pretty profound waySteveJobs
- downvoted for sharing 'visual quantification' w/designers... ... makes sense// (I love you, Steve <3 )PonyBoy
- There is no 'reasoning' going on here, palimpsest (and those dving)... it's a visual comparison ffs (LOL at how dense AND mean some can be at the same time) :PPonyBoy
- You said it.palimpsest
- Haha thanks PonyBoy. I really don't mind. If one of the village favorites here had posted it, it'd be front page. I'm just down in the polls right now is all :)SteveJobs
- well they always say every vote matters... this illustrates it...jonny_quest_lives
- No, his claim is that this is the number of people that decide the election. It is false.palimpsest
- It's like claiming that the last 5 stiches are what holds your shirt together. And putting a paperclip next to those stiches as visual quantification...palimpsest
- ...doesn't validate that claim.
I do, however, agree that if someone else had posted this it could have it made it to the front page.palimpsest - You either can't read or you're just looking for a fight—either way you're still incorrect, palimpsest. There is no 'claim' in this post. He's just showing...PonyBoy
- ... a VISUAL COMPARISON on how tight the race is.PonyBoy
- I stand corrected.palimpsest
