I have to admit, there were a handful at the end I didn't know, and I didn't cheat. I only got 17,500, although I expected to do a lot better considering I am a native speaker.
- the "explanations" of the words are extremely ambiguous to say the least. a microphone is not a machine to amplify sound, for examplehans_glib

Although English is not my native language I've spoken 'murican English for so long that I consider it my native language.
For reference, I probably answered 5 with "I don't know" and I don't think I should have gotten more than 10 wrong.
I assume that having a different native language (and a certain level of literacy) helps in enriching your vocabulary in your secondary language so that could be considered cheating.
