Is it a crazy idea to uninstall Plesk or disable it somehow, so it frees up the 1GB of RAM it's using?
Is this possible? Advisable? Stupid?

You like to manage the server via cmd line?

Might be a better investment in gaining more memory.

this is a clean centos plesk onyx 6 domains 4-5gb data, with firewall, mysql (small dbs), vpn, nodejs running:
738.764 used
not even 1gb weird eh? :)
actually it depends on the services plesk using, and is it an onyx or the old one *that can eat memory

if you're worried about 1gb ram, well stop using control panels :)

Im launching a site, don't want to pay for more ram unless the site is successful. So just want to be as lean as possible... could be a huge waste of time. RAM is expensive dawg.
