Hey, I'm thinking of ditching pencil+paper for sketching websites, ad concepts, etc.
Have any of you been using the iPad Pro as a tool in a creative department? How is it?
cheers!

Hey Zarkonite, yeah, I have started using Ipad Pro, the 12 inches model, combined with Apple Pencil, and never looked back at using pencil+paper again. I use two softwares mainly, Procreate, for my storyboards and concepts, and Astropad, when I need to animate things directly on Adobe Animate or any other software.
Astropad turns your Ipad Pro into a Cintiq when connected via USB, if you are using a mac that is.
I totally recommend :)

Thanks Fabricio! and in terms of sharing your ideas, how is that working out?
Usually I'd just put up a bunch of loose leafs up on the wall and we discuss as a group which ideas work best, etc. and we can mark things up on the spot if need be.
Do you just print them out?
and do you storyboard sometimes? I figured it would be much faster on an iPad vs scanning my pencil sketches.
(Anyone please jump in if you've got experience with this kind of workflow)

I am using a Surface Pro with Adobe CC and other PC softs, works very good and if i want to see the result or work with a bigger screen, i hook up my 27' on it, very usefull for previewing big illus...
- Sorry, but tried the iPad pro, and it's not a "working machine", not for my workflow at least...OBBTKN
