It's all very different and so unknown that it's hard to tell who good it will be but there's a little too much fighting and running. I liked the end and the Federation subplot.

Just realized, the interrogator from last week's episode was David Cronenberg.
- And doing a fucking good job, too.
Utterly creepy.Continuity - This scene was so fantastic. I hope we see more of this guy.CyBrainX
- Has to be Section 31. Set up for Yeoh's spinoff.i_monk
- I forgot about here spinoff. They're probably going to be spreading themselves thin like they did in the 90s.CyBrainX
- The 90s produced the best Trek, so go for it.i_monk

Star Trek is for kids. jk
I'm thoroughly enjoying this season especially. Dare I say, this is the best Trek show yet! I enjoyed Picard but Disco has good characters and some really solid story telling.- I love the series too. My favorite episode this year was the Vulcan trial story. The posthumous cameo was very moving.CyBrainX
- I'm not sure where I place it among my favorites yet but it's the most consistent. They never give us throwaway stories about Ferengi crossdressers.CyBrainX

Cronenberg was back in last week's episode:
- So that comment about the Romulan mining ship refers to the Star Trek 2009 movie when Nero went back in time at the beginning of the movie.CyBrainX
- That created the mirror universe. Is that young Enterprise's crew the same characters in this episode?

That newspaper in episode 9 had a lot of amazing Easter Eggs. The final reveal in episode 10 was some serious drama. From using the original voice to the visual effects and audio work, it was shear perfection. If the season ended now, I'd say that was a fantastic payoff.
