client spotted some small print on font licensing basically saying the font is only allowed for:
"Use as a primary element in a logo for a company, product or other entity having an actual or projected annual revenue of less than $5 million."
anyone come across this before? i've used neutraface 2 as the typeface in a logo (below the marque/icon). The company's revenue is substantiall more than 5m.

This is pretty standard, actually. With many foundries you also need to buy an extended license if you're using the font in national billboards, or major retailer POP. Each font house manages license extensions differently.
In the case of House Industries "We handle these on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us and we can get you sorted out."

Did you modify the font at all? if so - by how much?
- no it's just been kerned widely and used below to support the logo marque aboveindian_pole
- it would essentially have to look like a different font to be excludedGnash
- ..or you re-draw it, perhaps?
Font law is a iffy as fuck for the foundrydetritus - If it's not the primary wordmark you might be fineGnash
- I suppose if it's permanently attached to the marque you'd likely be safe - the license means that you can't then re-use the face outside that scenario.Fax_Benson
- I'm guessing out my arse, though.Fax_Benson

if you do end up contacting House to figure this out, please keep us updated :)
