The news impacted me more than most celebrity deaths.
Hoping he can make a go of it.Would like to see them play again this summer, but I imagine the tickets will be impossible to get once they go up next week.

Yeah, it was hard hearing the news. I had the pleasure of meeting him and chatting a handful of times as we both lived on the same street about 15 years ago. I think The Hip was the only band my father and I discovered at the same time and agreed upon. Legend for sure.

I don't know whats more tragic, that Gord is sick... or that this thread was started by Yuri.
- why is it tragic?yurimon
- Aside from posting on the same forum, any further commonality with you is a bummer.Al_dizzle
- all people have a common ground in their base existence. I dont see why anyone would take on that position. would seem dysfunctional.yurimon
- I would embrace most of the good people on this forum regardless of political opinion as long as there is no intent to harm. plenty of good people on here.yurimon
- i dont partake in the abstraction that labels bring to perceptions. this where the limitations and limit the potential of this forum.yurimon
- where the ridicule starts in questioning certain ideas. my expectation was that artists are not so ridged in belief systems that are built on shaky foundations.yurimon
- yurimon, you'll never understand. people don't like you. people don't have to like or even listen to you. you suck, learn to deal with it, your problem not oursimbecile
- why do i suck again?yurimon
- people dont even know me.yurimon
