I find these short sellers so annoying. They'd love to see an innovative company go up in flames just so they can make a quick buck.

In the video above, what isn't considered is the fundamental difference between "hard" and "soft" reality. Most people assume they think in fact, figures, truths - the stuff of hard reality (even though nothing further could be from the Truth). We, as society, are past need for facts and figures because soft reality - slogans, inspirational statements, promises and what-not could be as powerful about shaping the Truth. So the hard reality that the company is dysfunctional and the product grossly over-hyped simply doesn't matter - it will keep on making waves whether whether it brings in real money or not especially because money is the stuff of hard reality that ultimately we are not as concerned with.
This question doesn't pertain to the company itself but to the fundamental shift in our Truth perception. We are at precipice of a new matrix and companies like Tesla are simply reflection of that new world view.
- Sounds like you are talking about Apple...formed
- This really doesn't make sense, though, Tesla has delivered. This sounds more like it was written for the dotcom era, not now.formed
- lots of companies are like this nowdays. building cars doesn't equal "delivery". My uncle Jamal builds stuff in his backyard too...pr2
- Funny you're still providing soft facts when you talk about "reality".
They sell more Model 3 in the US than BMW 3 series, and it's #1 electric car in Europeraf - rab by what? 1500 cars? and BMW isn't even most popular. Between Tesla and next best seller there is whooping 800 cars and yet Tesla evangelist would make...pr2
- ...you believe that it's some holly grail on top of the mountains unreachable by anyone but God.pr2
- BMW 3'er is the direct competition in the category. Electric cars are a niche and yet the Model 3 outsells the gas bimmer.raf
- What you call over-hyped is called marketing. Nobody needs caffeinated sugar water with a dash of phosphoric acid, and somehow Coke and Pepsi are still around.raf
- When you think of that, bottled water is over-hyped. People buy it even in places where tap water is the same quality.raf
- Raf, what dark places are you getting your stats from??? In 2018 in Europe Tesla sold 30k cars while BMW... 817k. And i'm pretty sure BMW isn't valued even...pr2
- ...close to Tesla. This isn't just marketing, it's religion (which as i mentioned in the paragraph to the left, i understand). REAL value isn't important anymorpr2
- as einstein said reality albeit a persistent one. it will fade soon. the only reason its lasted is loose monetary policy, gov subsidies. Tightenign of money anddeathboy
- hard truth kicks in. Tesla can fail easily. They have leveraged there physcial assets to more diversified companies. why panasonicdeathboy
- advertises to local reno markets, and toyota already has options to work with them. and the 5 billion gigafactory is already over budget and under half donedeathboy
- and why the only construction crews out there are the ones to fix shit. no new development. money is tightening. but of course other central banks looseningdeathboy
- including china and our own people asking for a .5bps rate drop immediately or suffer competitiveness with other central banking printing.deathboy
- but this monetary policy is going to cause chaos, even in china. to inflate asset values increases income inequality and thats a disaster for democraciesdeathboy
- Read again pr2, I wrote Model 3 sells better than BMW 3 in the US, and in Europe it is the best-selling electric now.raf
- They are undermining the business model of countless companies, each bigger than themselves. We can only imagine the black pr (lol) budget to smear Tesla.raf
- And they only began selling Model 3 in Europe fairly recently, so 2018 data has no relevance.raf
- This just in...
https://europe.auton…raf - raf, you really don't see how 3k cars is a mosquito bite on BMWQ's ass???pr2
- You have a giant market leader with 100 yrs of history and a much smaller company that already beats them in two categories (luxury compact & electric).raf

- His company is in better financial shape than Uber and Lyft. The underlying issue here is he rattled some cages and the short sellers have latched on.zarkonite
- Tesla isn't going anywhere. How long did it take for Amazon to be profitable? When will Uber/Lyft make a profit?formed
- Tesla can potentially put both of those out of business, too.formed

Page 19 on Tesla's Third Quarterly update for 2019 has a pretty crazy before and after photo comparison - in January, muddy field, in October, a factory that is able to produce a car.
The level of Capitalism here is fucking crazy, all paid for by Communist China.
