So a potential client is recommending the use of Proof HQ (http://www.proofhq.com/) for a project, and I have my doubts. Seems like an additional layer of process.
Some prelim research has also led me to Concept share (http://www.conceptshare.com/#ma... and Approval Manager (http://www.approvalmanager.com...
Do any of you fine folks have experience with any of the above, or could you recommend a useful alternative?

Useful alternative: have a meeting.
- A very expensive alternative for international clients.MrT
- Yes, international calling rates are skyrocketing. And have you tried overnighting a PDF email? Ugh, talk about price gouging.monospaced
- Expensive in general if you need several people, not to mention extremely slow to coordinateformed
- Meetings are a weak place to economize. Asking them to coordinate themselves in an app? you might as well throw your ideas in a black hole.monNom

Is there any pricing listed? I've grown quite annoyed with these "services" that try to get you to call when all you want is a cost.
Concept at least listed their price, but $25+ per month seems pretty crazy.
All these sites feel like there is one VC out there that hired a handful of programmers/marketers and said "let's come up with as many 'services' as we can, make a pretty website and rake in the monthly fees".

i like invisionapp.com
- thank you!baseline_shift
- No problem - I have found uses for many things with this platform.rodzilla
- Ohh, just noticing it looks like its mainly for web / UI stuff. Think it would work ok with a large program of print graphics?baseline_shift

I think you may be able to do it with teamwork.

Basecamp 3 has introduced client approvals. Fairly basic, but gives you definitive yes/no responses, and deadlines that the client gets reminded of if they haven't responded.

If you're going to pay a monthly SaaS fee, you might as well by an Invision license. It has similar art approval flows, as well as a boatload of our design process tools under 1 license. Free for 1 project, and something like $15 a month for 3 projects.
Plus you get mood boards, static-/flow-based prototyping tools, Motion design coming soon, and more.
