- no it's just outlined and then the perspective edge done by handhans_glib
- feels like if it were done by hand, the designer would have had the sense to fill in the awkward, trapped white space on the first "E"bulletfactory
- - but the rounded edges do feel purposefulbulletfactory
- Definitely hand done, it's a little bit too fucked up for a computer renderburd-turglar

Its called block shadow or 3d text
This can be done with the Effects - 3D - Extrude & Bevel in Illustrator as mentioned in the eariler replies.
