Nothing in particular in terms of just the song making me emotional because of the content, they tend to be for personal reasons. For example there are a couple that I chose to be played at the funeral of a close friend after his parents asked me to do that. One of the songs was 'Up With The People' by Lambchop; not particularly morose but it's the association it now has when I hear it.
The video for Hurt by Johnny Cash however is a different story. The song is great, but the visuals I find heartbreaking. I think it's the thing of seeing him at the end of his life with his wife (who I believe had already died when the song and video were released) juxtaposed with images of himself as a strong younger man. Mortality is a bastard when it's laid bare like that. The song alone though doesn't effect me in the same way.

I have shed tears and have been touched deeply by a song only once... and for only a brief moment, as i gazed longingly into the smallish eyes on my elven girlfriend's face, in the twilight of moon and was the elder of the new lights, as was Telperion of the Trees...
- As i read that the first time, I thought you said 'eleven girlfriends's face'.
How do you even get them all in the same place at the same time?Wolfboy - i like enyaBen99

I mean, who doesn't find these lyrics touching?
"I wanna fuck you hard on the sink
After that, give you somethin' to drink
Step back, can't get spunk on the mink"
