I'm really eager to find out how Hispanic MAGA cultists who feel threatened by illegal immigrants taking their jobs feel about the potential that they could be kicked out of the country if birthright citizenship is revoked. They exist. There are a lot of Hispanic MAGA who love Trump for getting rid of people just like them who don't "belong" here. Most of them did it the right way, which I admit is a weird way to say it, because so many of these "illegal" immigrants aren't here illegally. They crossed the border and are seeking asylum under laws that exist. Trump is treating anyone here and not a citizen as an illegal immigrant.
But the birthright citizenship thing... I know someone who's father (in his 70s now) just got their citizenship. They weren't born here, his deceased wife wasn't either, and their daughter (who I know) has been in America her entire life and is in her early 40's. So I have to imagine that she has birthright citizenship even if she is a legal citizen. So she's potentially one of the targets of what Trump is trying to do: get rid of people who are actually here legally, but have birthright citizenship.
Anyone who doesn't understand that raw racism is only reason for any of this is nuts.
