First off, I know this has been talked about on another thread but I can't find it. My question is What do you use? Some subscriptions are for 750 images a month. I probably only need half that. Anyone use a site that offers 200-300 images/month? If so, please let me know. I was considering iStock and ShutterStock so far.

All the stock photo/image website suck in general. But I found that Shutterstock offers a lot more images that are higher quality and better shot than the other stock photo websites. They also have a vast collection of vector art, logos etc...

to utopian's point, I just switched to an iStock monthly subscription from Shutterstock (annual # credits). Cost was the only consideration as iStock is much cheaper for the quantities we needed. Regret the move as Shutterstock had a much better selection of images.

best thing is to do the maths. if you have to source and use a lot of images then the monthly subscription is worth it.
I buy maybe one image every month if that so it makes more sense just to buy one at a time and bill the client for that image.

We use http://www.thinkstockphotos.co.u…
£60 a month for 50 images.
Used to use istock then shutterstock. Those have better selections of pics but has been working alright for us for 2years.
