Illustrator to 3DS Max

I have a logo in Illustrator I would like to import into Max. When I import it, there is a frame about the imported mesh that matched exactly with the Illustrator artboard, and when I put an extrude on the object, the logo is actually cut out of the box.
I have no idea why this thing is important with a box around it. I need to be able to extrude the logo and ONLY see the logo, not the logo be invisible and the rest of the space around it visible. It's important in such a way that is opposite of what I need.

Nevermind Im good. All I did was deleted the control points of the outbox and somehow the logo works fine now. No clue what that was.

Clipping mask, from Illustrator? I literally just deleted the 4 corner points in Max and it fixed it. Really strange.
- u removed the clipping masks 4 corner points = deleted it :Dsted
- That may also simply be a path that is pulled from the Illustrator artboard. Importing AI paths into After Effects has a similar issue. Just delete it.evilpeacock

it's always doing this, clipping mask is automatically added at the import, whatever is in your ai file. not a bigge just remember it next time...
