WTF??

Terrible. All the questions everyone's asking about how to use it. Sign of bad design right there.

So much faster.

Why isn't it in lots of really bright colours that were briefly fashionable in 2014?

I really like this redesign. My only complaint is that when reading a thread, the minimalism has gone a tiny bit too far and I start to lose some of the visual structure the site had before.
I almost miss the containers for the PV topics and the side comments. Here's how I imagine those might be used on the refreshed site. It's just a 2 min experiment adding two gray boxes, a line and moving a couple pieces of type around, but to me it does a little something.

This might have been mentioned before, and it might be this browser, but are there no rollovers for threads and titles anymore? I miss those, they've always helped me navigate.
- Rollovers are also always good (I don't know why you would ever go w/o?)formed
- this site seems to have gone without, site-wide too.monospaced
- Mobile no likee rollovers.detritus

Maybe it's just me, but I've never accessed the site via mobile. I come here for design talk and visual stuff. I think it maybe went a little too far to be mobile compatible (no hierarchy, no rollovers, hamburger menu, etc.)

Frontend is now https://angular.io
I guess backend remains Python.

Um, not loving the emptiness of the redesign. Lacks a little personality... I'll get use to it. Some nice updates. Thumbs up on the responsive but on iPad the notes are all over the place. You can't tap 'next' note as it's hidden.

They allowing new signups?

would look better if the broadcast section had a tint or something to frame it. everything is soooo empty right now.

The ultra minimalist approach is totally intentional -- his site is a platform for user-submitted content.
Bravo, QBN! Well done.

It's a vastly better experience on mobile. Good job!

It feels like there is no order of importance in the design. I looks confusing to me.
