If you live in a major city and work in a creative, political or service oriented field, chances are you've met and worked with someone famous or more successful than you.
I don't know anyone very famous that I can have coffee with, but I've emailed, worked with or been introduced to many.

one of my best friends (and his older brother as well) are pretty big time music producers.....do lots of work with world famous pop acts etc... couldn't be happier for both of them...
when we were kids in highschool, both of them equally were pretty driven when it came to music and production etc...
the older brother became famous first, became the keyboard player for a few big Canadian acts, then off he went to LA and became a producer ..suddenly was hanging out and working with the biggest etc...
my buddy (the younger brother) toiled and busted his ass up here in Toronto before he finally got his big break...and since then he's been climbing the same successfull ladder as his brother, working with big acts etc....
what's cool is that it honestly hasn't changed him at all....we still hangout all the time, still goof around, still chat.....
the only difference is now, I'll be at work designing stuff and i'll get a PM from him that's all 'guess who's in Bahama's working with 'x'..? lol...plus he lets me listen to a lot of cool stuff before it hits the streets :)
well....cool if you like pop music i guess....
mostly cool for me because i'm happy for him :)
