The dome keyboards, like the apple shown up there, have much longer travel than a mechanical keyboard, the keys are giggly and you can only input 3 keys at a time. I agree they have some visual appeal but from a usability perspective it's inferior.

I use 4-key shortcuts all the time on the Apple keyboard, am I doing something wrong?

Apple keyboard is the best I've used. Everything else feels like I have to push the keys about 3ft down.

I'm a PC and I've been through old MS keyboards, expensive gaming keyboards, old mechanical ones.. but for the last 5 or so years I've been a MacKeyboard fanboy.
Super clean to type on, super low desktop footprint, easy to clean and Just Fucking Tidy.
I've spilt cider one one and busted it, bought another, then plastic-solvent which melted another one, so I'm on my third here now.

Are there any mac-like competitors out there even?
