What should the job description for a front end web designer be? We dont expect them to code. Is it reasonable to expect them to do some copywriting for banner text and other key marketing messages?

UI/UX Designer
I say no to copywriting but I'm sure others don't...

Most designers hate copywriting. Do not mix this job up with a designer's job. It will make your company look like some amateurish wordpress-ratshop.

We dont have a copywriting team... whos job should it be?
- hire external guy or galmekk
- it should not be the designers job to write the adsGnash
- For key messages you should just A/B test and shotgun blast variants.orrinward2

surely if you're creating lots of copy you should have a copywriter. It's a proper job. Otherwise, the person what rights best.

- As a UX/UI/Front-End Dev I'd disagree. In a larger company what I do would easily be 3 distinct roles.orrinward2

I want this gig!
I'd just say "Designer" that would appeal to me as someone who knows intermediate front end but solely focuses on design.
- By the way it would be fine to ask your designer to copyright, just be sure they are also getting paid for this skill too.bklyndroobeki
- It's hard to come by. I've done it, but it's stressful to constantly come up w/ design + copy.bklyndroobeki
